Deliveries and Returns

Your Order Shipment

All orders are dispatched by BMTH Limited trading as EZ Computers (hereafter referred to as "Us", "Our") within 1 working day after receipt of payment (excludes weekends and UK Bank Holidays). Unless otherwise chosen/available, delivery is by Business Post. All Business Post deliveries require a signature on delivery for insurance purposes and can be tracked via the Business Post website. Customers may be offered Royal Mail Delivery, either First Class Recorded or Second Class Recorded, again tracked and requiring a signature on delivery. Tracking is available on the Royal Mail website.

Available delivery options may be restricted depending upon order.

Delivery Areas

All Business Post UK Shipping Quotes are for the UK Mainland only (Zones A & B). Deliveries to the following areas are subject to a Delivery Surcharge which is to be paid prior to any item being shipped:

  • Northern Ireland and North of Scotland (Zone C) Add £15.00
  • Channel Islands, Republic of Ireland & all other offshore destinations (Zone D & E) Add £20.00
  • Isle of Wight & Isles of Scilly Add £5.99

Delivery Times

All delivery times are approximate and are given as an indication only. If you have not received your order within the indicated time, please contact us. On orders for items requiring assembly please allow the following additional build/test time from time of order to dispatch:

  • Base Units: 3 Working Days
  • Complete Systems: 3 Working Days
  • Upgrade Kits with Assembly: 1 Working Day
  • Any items with OS installation: 4 Working Days

Returns & Refunds

All items are supplied with a 1 Year Return to Base warranty starting from the day after the day the item is delivered, unless otherwise stated. This warranty covers failures of a manufacturing nature and does not cover damage caused by hardware/software modification. This includes but is not restricted to physical damage caused by misuse or abuse, overclocking of CPU or components, BIOS or other firmware upgrade or downgrade, incorrect installation of peripherals, etc.

If you suspect your item has become faulty within the relevant warranty period, please use our Contact Form and select Returns & Warranty to arrange an RMA number prior to returning the item. If you purchased your item through our website, go to My Account -> My Orders. Select the order with the item you wish to return and follow the instructions for Create a RMA request. SPD Computers reserve the right to refer you to the manufacturer's warranty on certain items.

SPD Computers reserve the right to refuse any item returned without a valid SPD Computers RMA number. Any item returned and found to be either not faulty, physically damaged or not the original item covered by the warranty, a £15 service charge and return postage may be applicable prior to returning the item at our discretion. Any item found to be faulty will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. Please allow up to 28 days from the day after the day your item is received by Us.

Distance Seller Regulations

Under the UK Distance Sellers Regulations, you are entitled to return your items within 7 days starting from the day after the day your item is delivered for a full refund excluding the cost of return postage, providing notice is given in writing to Us within the above 7 day "cooling off" period. These regulations do not cover items purchased by a business or the supply of computer software which were unsealed by the consumer.
